Business Visa

Foreign citizens may enter Belarus both with a visa and under a visa-free regime. For example, for some countries there is a visa-free regime (e.g., Georgia), which allows staying in Belarus for 90 days within a year continuously.

For some countries, there is a special visa-free entry, for example, for citizens of China or EU countries, under which one may stay for no more than 30 days within a single trip.

Types of visas for business purposes in Belarus

For business purposes, 2 types of visas may be used depending on the purpose and duration of the foreigner’s visit:

  1. business visa — for those traveling to Belarus on a business trip, for a short period, including if the work involves regular visits to the country
  2. work visa — for those who will come to Belarus for employment under a special permit and will stay in the country for a long period.

The business visa option is also suitable for foreign investors who want to come to Belarus to organize their own business.

Which visa is issued when working without a special permit

According to changes in 2025, when employed by a Belarusian company on the basis of the preferential List, a visa for business relations is issued at the Embassy.

As a rule, a single-entry visa is issued for up to 30 days. Subsequently, in Belarus, an employment contract is signed, a temporary residence permit is prepared, and a multiple-entry visa is issued.
